LAKEWOOD, Colo – The Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust (CCALT) is once again joining other leading nonprofit organizations across Colorado as a participant in Colorado Gives Day.
Colorado Gives Day is an annual giving campaign through which nonprofit organizations in Colorado are able to connect with donors to generate financial support for their programming. This year, Colorado Gives Day is Tuesday, December 9, but the early giving period began Saturday, November 1.
For CCALT, this year’s campaign launches with a generous lead gift from the John K. and Barbara A. Rankin Revocable Trust. Their contribution sets the tone for a season of generosity that will help ensure CCALT has the resources necessary to continue partnering with landowners across Colorado to conserve our state’s working landscapes for the benefit of future generations.
“When people give to CCALT, they are making a lasting and important difference in keeping Colorado’s working landscapes intact,” said Erik Glenn, Chief Executive Officer of CCALT. “These working farms and ranches sustain families, support communities, and carry Colorado’s heritage forward. Every gift makes a lasting difference in keeping our state Forever Colorado, and we are grateful for the support.”
