No matter how you choose to celebrate the holidays, chances are that at some point you’ll be gathered around your dinner table with family and friends, giving thanks. At CCALT, as we sit down to gather around our “table” this Thanksgiving we are thankful for a very successful 2015 and 20th Anniversary year. Our “table” has never been more abundant. This year we reached significant milestones, highlighted longtime friendships, and collected new supporters all along the way.

CCALT couldn’t exist without encouragement from our donors, sponsors, and partners. As a staff, we work hard to thank every individual that supports us throughout the year, but it could never be enough. As the holidays approach, we are especially grateful to those supporters who have been with us from the very beginning. Believing in an organization is always exciting, but we are truly grateful to those who saw a future and a cause worth supporting, and stuck with us. Because of you, we have grown from a grass roots concept into a statewide organization that is a leader in the conservation community.

As 2015 comes to a close, we also owe one anonymous donor a major thank you. On December 8, 2015, Colorado Gives Day will take place. For those of you who are unfamiliar with Colorado Gives Day, it is a Community First Foundation event organized each year in December when the communities of Colorado come together to celebrate and support their favorite charities. This year, on Colorado Gives Day, an anonymous donor has pledged to match the first $10,000 that CCALT raises. That means that any gift given that day will be twofold. We extend our sincerest thanks to this anonymous donor, and also a special thank you in advance to anyone who will be participating with us on December 8, 2015.

So, here is a BIG thank you! From the board and staff of the Colorado Cattlemen’s Agricultural Land Trust, thank you for working with us, supporting us, and guiding us for the past 20 years. We couldn’t have done it without you, and we are forever grateful. See you on Colorado Gives Day, and HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
